Locker just got even more social - you can now show your friends and other shoppers some love by leaving likes and comments on their saves!
When you are scrolling the following feed, browsing a shopper’s profile, or even scrolling through someone’s collection, you now have the option to:
❤️ ”like” a product by clicking the heart icon and 💬 leave a comment on a product, reply to other comments and even tag usernames in the comments! (the max character count is 500)
Like your other social apps, we will notify the shopper who saved the product that you left a comment or like on. And same goes for you! If other shoppers like or comment on your saves, we will send you a notification. To see who has liked your products, you can click on the like count number.
💡The new “like” feature is not meant to replace “saving” a product to your own Locker. This is great for when a friend or someone whose taste you admire has saved a product you find cool, but maybe it’s not something you want to have saved to your own profile. *That being said, in the future you’ll be able to find products you’ve “liked” in a section on your profile.
🤝* Comments are a great way to show some love, to ask questions about the product or brand, or to help make suggestions on how to style an item. However, it is not an opportunity to spread negative messages. *As our moms taught us on the Locker team, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all :)
🚩 If someone leaves a negative or harmful comment on your own product or on someone else’s, you have the option to report the comment by clicking the 3 dots on the comment. You can also delete any comments that shoppers leave on your own product by also clicking the 3 dots.*
